Dogs should never be interrupted while in the mating position. The process of dogs getting stuck during mating is called copulatory tie. It is one of the main stages in the process of mating. The male dog has an organ known as bulbus grands which expands and gets locked in the uterus while mating.
The copulatory tie increases the chances of the female getting pregnant. The calmer the dogs stays the faster the copulatory tie ends. On the other hand, when the dogs gets panicked the the induced anxiety makes locking situation last longer. The approximate time for a normal mating copulatory tie varies between five to fifteen minutes.
However, depending on several factors the tie can take as long as half an hour. In most cases the copulatory tie won't take more than twenty minutes if the dogs are not interrupted while mating. It will mainly depend on how long the male will take ejaculate. They will stay stuck till the bulbus glands is back to its original size.
If the dog is breeding for the first time there are high chances of the process being painful for male. This is also because of lack of breeding experience leading to confusion on which position would suit each other the best. Follow for more news.
