Boda boda man allegedly rapes female customer who hired him to take her to her boyfriend at Mwanyaini today on Sunday October 6 2024.
The most recent incident happened when a bodaboda rider from machakos County in Kenya allegedly attacked and raped his female customer while ferrying her from Machakos town to Mwanyani shopping centre along the Kitui-Machakos Highway.
It was reported that the middle-aged woman had travelled from Machakos to meet her boyfriend, who resides in Mwanyani, before this horrible incident happened.
The victim revealed that during the journey the bodaboda rider diverted the motorcycle to a forest at Katetani where he tied her hands and legs and raped her.
The victim was rescued by other bodaboda riders who heard her calling for help and rushed her to Machakos Level 5 Hospital to receive treatment. It's reported that the bodaboda rider later launched a manhunt for the rapist who has distorted their sector name and took him to Machakos town police station. The man is now waiting to be arraigned in court tomorrow and charged with rape.
We hope the middle-aged woman from Machakos will be accorded justice accordingly.
